We are excited to announce the Bruce Hunt Moeckel Foundation in loving memory of Dr. Bruce Moeckel. Bruce passed away in October of 2016 and there is not a day that goes by that we do not think of him. This foundation is the first step in honoring a truly incredible husband, father, doctor, and man.

For years, Bruce worked at a pickle factory, saving all he could earn with the hopes of attending medical school. In that same spirit, the Bruce Hunt Moeckel Foundation will fund scholarships for truly hardworking students across the U.S.—students who are paying their own way through college or graduate school.
In honor of the pickle factory job Bruce held to pay for medical school, our scholarship fund is called The Pickle Fund and will aim to make dreams a reality for students who are putting themselves through school. The foundation’s motto, Driving Dreams, speaks to that goal.
