Who We Are
Our Story
BHM Foundation (Bakhmal Bibi and Hafiz Masood Foundation) was not born in a boardroom, it was born on the ground, among the people we serve. In a country where rising inflation has made even a bag of flour a daily worry for millions of families, we saw something simple but powerful: that a little help, given with dignity, can change a family’s entire day, sometimes their entire future.
We started small, a few volunteers, a few families, a shared belief that no one should have to carry their hardships alone. As Pakistan faced flood after flood, and households struggled harder each year just to make ends meet, our response grew too from handing out ration packs in flood hit villages of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to sitting beside a child on a school mat and reminding them they matter, to standing with a mother hanging laundry in the sun and simply asking, How are you, really?
We are not a foundation that believes charity ends at a donation. We believe it begins there. Every ration bag, every school visit, every moment of listening is our way of saying: we see you, we hear you, and you are not forgotten.
Today, BHM Foundation continues to grow, but our purpose remains exactly what it was on day one: to walk alongside the people of Pakistan through hardship, with compassion, consistency, and hope.
Core Values
Integrity
We say what we mean, and we do what we say, because trust is the only currency that matters when someone hands us their last hope.
Compassion
We don't just deliver aid, we sit with people in their pain. Every person we serve is treated the way we want our own family treated.
Accountability:
We know we can not do this alone, and we don't pretend to. Real change happens when good people, donors, volunteers, partners, walk together.
Collaboration
We know we can not do this alone, and we don't pretend to. Real change happens when good people, donors, volunteers, partners, walk together.
Sustainability
A meal today matters. But we also think about tomorrow, building support that doesn't disappear once the cameras or crisis do.
Respect
No one who comes to us is made to feel small for needing help. Dignity is not optional, it's the first thing we offer, before anything else.
Chairman’s Message
To every Pakistani family reading this, I know these are not easy times.
I have seen it in the villages where we visit mothers with nothing left to give but love, fathers who never complain though they have every right to.
This is why the BHM Foundation exists, not as an organization looking down from a distance, but as your neighbors, standing beside you. When floods take homes, we bring ration packs. When a child feels invisible, we sit with them. When a mother needs to talk, we send a volunteer who understands her, because dignity matters as much as charity.
We cannot fix inflation or undo a flood overnight. But we have the will to show up, again and again, for as long as it takes.
To our donors: thank you for trusting us to be your hands where you cannot reach. To every family we serve, you are not a statistic, you are our reason for waking up each morning.
